I've got weddings at the Matix Hotel all through June, it's amazing how a room can reflect such different tastes. I loved the flowers from Eden Lily, they looked like a bowl of ice cream. Gorgeous.

I have never seen such a lavish and tasteful celebration of Pink! It was a wedding fit for a princess including a police escort to help us get out of the Fringe!This is one we'll never forget - due largely to the collaboration with Kathryn Lomax at Elegant Touches. She really outdid herself.

I loved this bride from the moment we met. She and her husband live in Portland and we talked by phone. She was just as lovely in person. Claire is a classic beauty with a charming husband and gracious family. The wedding was full of traditions, laughter and these FANTASTIC chocolate cupcakes!

I will never ever forget the movie Dushko's friends and family made to entertain the bride and groom. Angela: Don't you think that movie My big Fat Greek Wedding was unrealistic? She knows the reality of a huge Serbian wedding now. I've come to really appreciate orthodox weddings. They have the deepest symbolic moments and the beauty of the hand painted iconoclast as a backdrop. A very pretty bride and a handsome groom make it all the richer.

Cara & Nathan: Country Charm
Sigh. . . . Some days are full of unexpected surprises and delights. This country wedding had so many sophisticated touches. Seeing all of there friends and family drift towards a flowered trellis in a beautifully planted yard was magic. So were the flowers full of the colour and fragrance of green apples. The baby in the buggy totally stole the show even though she was fast asleep. La piece de resistance - the Wilkie Barn where we were allowed free rein! Let me know if you're getting married in Ponoka . . . .

Jenni & Don: My Old Flame
These two have such a great love story! There were 6 years when they weren't together that their friends and family laughingly refer to as 'the dark years'.
Obviously things have brightened up, because they are together and happily hitched.
Jenni planned this magic by long distance from Halifax, NS and did an amazing job. A gorgeous evening out at Shalom Park didn't hurt either.

I can't say enough how perfect this wedding was! The azure and orange colour scheme against a perfect blue sky on the terrace of the Mac Hotel. Need I say more?
My favourite moment was when the bride and groom saw each other for the first time. The energy that pours off of couples at those moments is amazing! It really fuels my work and warms my heart.
